## About the Role

* 8+ Years of Strong Network Engineer experience; specifically LAN/WAN network design, engineering, testing and certification/validation
 * Strong hands-on routing & switching background OSPF and Layer 2 protocols/Spanning Tree.
 * Strong experience with Cisco networking platforms, including Catalyst and Nexus; experience with IOS/NE/NCOS and code/features
 * Strong Linux foundation - administration, networking and automation

 * Strong hands-on python automation experience

Hands-on Ansible experience, including creating/maintaining automation workflows and playbooks

Strong troubleshooting exp w/ wireshark and/or TCPdump

Exp designing and testing Network hardware including routers and switches

Must understand network performance testing

Independent worker with strong communication skills - written and verbal

 * Must be able to document findings and present recommendations.

Must have Lab experience

 * In NYC they will be sitting in the lab

Plus:

 * Network Lab testing certifications
 * CCIE or CCNO level knowledge
 * AWS or Azure cloud Exp
