## Description

Seeking a GIS Mapping Technician with 1-2 years of experience to update, edit, and maintain geospatial data within a mapping system. This role supports utility system operations, requiring onsite work, data analysis, and occasional fieldwork., * Update and maintain GIS models for electric utility systems.

 * Analyze geospatial data and generate custom maps, reports, and plots.
 * Process work orders, as-built drawings, and field reports into GIS systems.
 * Resolve data conflicts related to mapping, connectivity, and land issues.
 * Perform manual or computer-aided drafting using tools like MicroStation or AutoCAD (preferred).
 * Conduct occasional fieldwork (5-10%) and weekly print distribution rotations.
 * Operate office equipment (printers, plotters, scanners) and assist with data filings.
