Key Knowledge and Skills * Snowflake: Advanced SQL, warehouse management, file handling, performance & cost optimization, security. * Matillion: Advanced orchestration, job management, reusable components, error handling, deployment. * Azure: Data and integration services, cloud security, secrets management, deployment automation. * Strong understanding of ETL/ELT architectures, batch/incremental loading, CDC, slowly changing dimensions. * Ability to translate business/data requirements into integration designs. * Knowledge of data warehousing concepts: dimensional modeling, normalization, data lakes, reporting layers. * Data quality and audit frameworks, including lineage, control totals, exception processing. * Secure engineering for sensitive data: encryption, least privilege, masking, logging, environment separation. * Git and Azure DevOps-based source control and deployment processes. * Diagnosing complex issues across data, application, database, network, authentication. * Familiarity with SDLC, DevOps, change/incident/problem management, production support. * Leadership in technical design, standards, mentoring, and influencing delivery.
