This role will be focusing on designing and development of simulators and test benches that enable a wide range of departments to validate and verify spacecraft functionality. You will be joining a small collaborative team working closely with testers, designers, and architects. While your main focus will be creating software for spacecraft simulation, you'll be encouraged to consider the whole architecture. This means gathering requirements, keeping testing in mind, and balancing performance, security, reliability, and compliance. Career progression for this role is Architect, Expert or Systems Engineering How you will Contribute to the team: * Work on Telecommunications, Earth Observation & Science missions Projects like ARIEL, Vigil, ExoMars Rover, OneSat (and more) for ESA and the UK MOD * Understand that your software is used for testing spacecraft software and hardware, which results in moving requirements and sometimes the need to clarify those requirements * Work closely with other engineering teams to ensure the successful deployment and use of the test benches.
