Hotel, booking, payments, inventory, logistics or other vertical-software experience is useful but not required. Location and package The role is full-time and London-based, with working sprints in Antalya, Türkiye. Equity is included. Applicants must be able to demonstrate the right to work in the UK for this role by the start date. ## Description This is our first engineering hire. You will work directly with the owner, own delivery end to end, and later help select the second engineer. The work covers architecture, implementation, deployment, iteration and production reliability. What you will own * Build reliable operational software from the data model through the operator-facing workflow. * Design and maintain transactional PostgreSQL systems with sound constraints, concurrency handling, idempotency, audit trails and safe corrections. * Ship production TypeScript and Node.js services, with appropriate authentication, access controls, testing, monitoring, backups and recovery. * Observe real operational workflows, separate facts from assumptions and turn them into practical software. * Document technical decisions and help assess and select the second engineer.
