Preferred * Experience with embedded systems, cybersecurity, software development, or automotive electronics. * Familiarity with CAN, J1939, UDS, Automotive Ethernet, or similar protocols. * Experience with cybersecurity testing and validation. * Knowledge of authentication, encryption, secure boot, and secure software updates. * Experience with Python, CANoe, CANalyzer, or similar tools. * Familiarity with ISO/SAE 21434 and commercial vehicle systems. * Experience working with cross-functional teams and suppliers. * Advanced degree and/or cybersecurity certifications. ## Description PACCAR Embedded Engineering is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to support Kenworth and Peterbilt vehicle platforms. In this role, you will work with cross-functional engineering teams to help develop, implement, and validate cybersecurity solutions for electronic control units (ECUs), vehicle networks, and connected vehicle systems. The successful candidate will support cybersecurity activities throughout the product development lifecycle, including risk assessment, requirements development, testing, and issue resolution. This position provides an opportunity to collaborate with software developers, systems engineers, suppliers, and cybersecurity professionals to deliver secure and reliable vehicle systems.
