Degrees or certifications required: Candidates with a bachelor's degree are highly preferred, * 4 years of experience in a security operation, IAM, IT security, or technical security role. * Hands-on experience with security and identity tooling. * Solid understanding of: * Identity and access management concepts * Cloud security * Endpoint and device security * Security monitoring and alert triage * Incident response fundamentals * Experience working with ticketing and documentation tools such as JIRA and Confluence. * Strong communication and documentation skills * The ability to work with both technical and non-technical partners. Nice to Haves: * Experience in game development, entertainment, or fast-paced production environments. * Scripting or automation experience (PowerShell preferred). * Exposure to on-prem Active Directory or hybrid identity environments ## Description We are seeking a Security Analyst 2 contractor to support end-to-end security operations for an client game studio. This role is part of the security team, a small, highly collaborative security team responsible for all aspects of security for the studio-from identity and access management (IAM) to security monitoring, endpoint and device compliance, third-party access governance, and regulatory readiness. Will be using the Security tools to complete daily responsibilities., Security Operations & Incident Response o Monitor, analyze, and triage security alerts across endpoints, identities, and cloud workloads. o Investigate security incidents to determine root cause, scope, impact, and remediation steps. o Support incident response activities, documentation, and post-incident reviews. o Participate in an on-call rotation and support occasional after-hours or overtime coverage during incidents. Identity & Access Management (IAM) o Manage user, service, and third-party access using Azure Entra / Azure AD and related tooling. o Support PRMFA enforcement and identity hardening initiatives. o Provision, review, modify, and decommission access to internal systems and third-party tools. o Assist with access reviews, entitlement validation, and remediation of IAM findings. Endpoint, Device & Compliance Security: o Support enforcement of device management and compliance requirements (MDM/Intune or equivalent). o Monitor and remediate endpoint security posture using Microsoft Defender for Endpoint. o Assist with Data Loss Prevention (DLP) monitoring, alert response, and user guidance. o Contribute to audit and compliance efforts. Cloud, Network & Tooling Security o Monitor and support security controls across Azure workloads and services. o Collaborate with IT and engineering teams on network security, logging, and detection gaps. o Manage and tune security tooling such as Microsoft Sentinel and Atlassian Guard. o Review security detections and recommend improvements to reduce false positives and strengthen coverage. Vulnerability Management & Security Reviews: o Review vulnerability findings, partner with stakeholders on remediation, and track closure. o Assist with internal security assessments and risk evaluations. o Perform lightweight security reviews of software, tools, and third-party services used by the studio.
