## About the Role

Do you have experience in Test Planning (Quality assurance practices)?, * A strong technical background with in depth understanding of printer functionality and printer/network security.

 * Excellent verbal and written communication skills to include the following:
*

 + Ability to communicate with HP customer, third party test labs and HP developers.
 + Ability to produce detailed and precise documents needed for certification review.
 * Testing skills to include:
*

 + Test writing that verifies strict conformance to high level industry standard.
 + Experience writing automated tests on C# and Python environments.
 + High level test review to verify and characterize defects for HP development teams.
 + Experience with test execution planning and scheduling.

 * MFP knowledge at a test engineer level of the following:
 * Knowledge of MFP functions and features.
 * Knowledge of MFP design and development process.
 * Knowledge of MFP testing processes including security vulnerability and penetration testing.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 * Experience with Common Criteria Certification Program.
 * Experience writing test scripts against HP printer firmware (DUNE).

## Description

We are currently hiring a Sr. Systems/Software Engineer to support our global software client in Boise, ID. The primary responsibility of this position will be to work with the Engineering/Test team to create tests and strategies for Comon Criteria Certification. The position requires a strong technical background with in depth understanding of printer functionality and printer/network security. This is a full-time position with Monday-Friday day shift hours. This is a hybrid schedule with the current onsite requirement of 2-3 days per week; please note this is subject to change at any time based upon client requirements. You also must reside locally to the client-site in Boise, Idaho.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

 * Verifying printer configurations.
 * Writing automated test scripts.
 * Executing various test types.
 * Contributing to test engineering strategy for Comon Criteria Certification.
 * May be asked to help create engineering level documentation required for printer certification.
 * Perform additional duties as assigned.
