Desirable (but not essential): * Experience working with SAP Employee Central Payroll (ECP), SAP HCM or SuccessFactors environments. * Knowledge of HMRC RTI interfaces and payroll-related integrations. * Experience supporting legislative payroll changes, SAP support packs and SAP Notes. * Experience working within public sector, government or highly regulated environments. * Knowledge of civil service payroll, pension schemes or statutory absence processes. Minimum Criteria: * Proven SAP ECC6 Payroll configuration experience (or closely related SAP Payroll platforms such as ECP). * Strong payroll configuration expertise, including PCRs. * Experience working on payroll configuration rather than solely payroll processing. * Experience managing configuration changes through assessment, implementation and testing. ## Description As our SAP Payroll Configuration Specialist, you'll play a key role in supporting and enhancing SAP ECC6 HR & Payroll for our HMRC client. This is a specialist position focused on payroll configuration rather than payroll processing, giving you the opportunity to work on complex system changes, Personnel Calculation Rules (PCRs), legislative updates, testing, and root cause analysis of escalated payroll issues. You'll be the go-to expert for delivering robust configuration solutions and ensuring payroll functionality continues to operate smoothly and effectively. Working closely with colleagues across Payroll, Finance and ICT, you'll support change requests from initial impact assessment through to implementation and testing, while also contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and future payroll projects.
