TRAVEL * Regular travel is minimal REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE * Comprehensive computer skills: CAD, Word, Excel, PowerPoint. * Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent work experience. * 5 plus years design and drafting experience. * 5 plus years 3D parametric design experience. (Solidworks preferred) * 5 plus years AutoCAD experience preferred but not required. * Strong mechanical aptitude. * Experience designing for assembly and manufacturability. * Ability to take minimal design direction and make detailed drawings. * Ability to research and specify materials and purchased components. * Effectively communicate design ideas to team. * Work independently with limited design direction. * Ability to train and be trained. * Thorough understanding of project management. * Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
