Strong practical cabling experience, including: * Copper and fibre patching * Rack installations * Cable routing and management * Labelling standards * Physical infrastructure best practice Preferred Experience * Financial services, capital markets, or trading environment experience. * Experience supporting low-latency or business-critical platforms. * Knowledge of multicast networking within trading environments. * Experience with Infinera or optical transport platforms. Familiarity with: * Out-of-band management solutions * Console access technologies * Structured migration methodologies * Detailed migration runbooks and change procedures * Relevant certifications such as * CCNA * CCNP * Arista ACE * Equivalent industry certifications ## Description The successful candidate will play a key role in the migration and implementation of Arista, Aruba, and Cisco networking technologies, alongside Layer 2 and Layer 3 telecoms migrations. You will work closely with third-party telecom providers to migrate existing circuits and services while ensuring minimal disruption to business-critical operations. This is a hands-on engineering role requiring strong technical expertise across both physical infrastructure and logical network migrations. The position will involve working within fast-paced, highly available environments and will require occasional out-of-hours support for cutovers, implementation windows, and post-migration validation.
