## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, and/or relevant work experience.

 * 3+ years building and shipping backend software.

 * Proficiency in Rust, or strong systems-programming experience (C, C++, Go) with a demonstrated ability and eagerness to work primarily in Rust.

 * Working familiarity with C++ and Python.

 * Solid grasp of backend fundamentals: APIs, services, concurrency, testing, and Linux.

 * Fluency with AI and agent-assisted development, and the judgment to apply it where it adds real leverage - reviewing, correcting, and taking full ownership of AI-generated work.

 * Strong written and verbal communication skills.

 * Must be authorized to work in the United States. Qrypt does not provide visa sponsorship for this role.

Nice to have

 * Experience with cryptography, security, or networking systems.

 * Experience with high-reliability or performance-sensitive services.

 * Familiarity with Linux systems programming and packaging/deployment.
