## About the Role

* 5-10 years of experience in Software Engineering, Solution Architecture, Application Architecture, or Technical Design.
 * Strong understanding of software engineering principles and modern application architecture.
 * Ability to read, analyze, and understand application source code (Java experience strongly preferred).
 * Experience designing and supporting APIs, microservices, distributed systems, and cloud-native applications.
 * Strong knowledge of scalability, resiliency, performance optimization, and maintainable software design.
 * Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps methodologies, and Agile software delivery.
 * Proven ability to identify technical risks and recommend architectural improvements.
 * Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
 * Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Security Experience

Candidates should have experience applying secure software development practices, including:

## Description

Seneca Resources is seeking an experienced Technical Solutions Architect / Senior Application Architect to support a high-impact Digital Banking technology team. This role is ideal for an experienced software engineering professional who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, evaluating application architecture, and influencing long-term technology strategy without serving as a traditional software developer.

You will collaborate closely with Engineering, Product Management, Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure, and Security teams to improve application quality, reduce technical debt, and guide the development of scalable, secure, resilient, and cloud-ready enterprise applications.
