Preferred Experience * Experience supporting eCommerce or online marketplace platforms. * Experience supporting auction, automotive or luxury marketplaces. * Familiarity with payment gateways and user authentication systems. * Experience working alongside software development teams. ## Description We are seeking a Website Support & Applications Specialist to support the launch and ongoing operation of our new online collector automobile auction platform. This individual will serve as the primary day-to-day technical resource responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, maintaining, and enhancing our auction website during its first year of operation., Website Operations & Support * Monitor the health, availability, and performance of the auction website. * Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, bugs, and user-reported problems. * Coordinate with third-party developers and hosting providers to resolve technical issues. * Perform routine testing before and after releases. * Monitor site functionality during live auction events and respond quickly to production issues. Website Maintenance * Update website content, pages, images, banners, and configuration settings. * Implement minor website edits and content changes. * Maintain forms, landing pages, navigation, and other website components. * Ensure website functionality across major browsers and mobile devices. User & Technical Support * Provide technical support for internal users, consignors, bidders, and customer service staff. * Investigate user account, login, registration, bidding, and payment issues. * Document support tickets and communicate issue status to stakeholders. * Develop troubleshooting guides and internal documentation. Continuous Improvement * Identify opportunities to improve the customer experience and website usability. * Implement small enhancements and workflow improvements. * Assist with testing and deployment of new features. * Track enhancement requests and prioritize them with business leadership. Quality Assurance * Perform regression testing after software updates. * Verify functionality of new features before production releases. * Report defects with clear documentation and reproduction steps.
