## About the Role

* Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
 * 8+ years of professional software development experience
 * Proven experience leading and mentoring engineering teams
 * Strong background in application design, development, and testing
 * Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
 * Solid understanding of secure, scalable, and high-performance system design
 * Experience working with distributed systems and relational databases
 * Demonstrated ability to collaborate with senior stakeholders and influence technical strategy
 * Strong foundational knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) data servicesHands-on experience with GCP BigQuery, BigTable, Google Cloud Dataproc for large-scale data processing, and Cloud Composer (Airflow) for workflow orchestration

Preferred Qualifications:

 * Hands-on experience building and testing modern applications
 * Strong object-oriented design and architecture skills across platforms (Java, Python)
 * Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for business stakeholders
 * Proven ability to define and deliver end-to-end technical solutions
 * Passion for solving complex technical challenges and enabling team success
 * Track record of contributing to multiple teams and driving broader organizational impact
 * Practical experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools to accelerate project delivery
