## About the Role

* 10+ years of relevant working experience in a similar role.
 * Advanced UX research and interaction design.
 * Deep knowledge of accessible design for federal systems.
 * Experience integrating UX with Agile/DevSecOps teams.

Education and Certification Requirements:

 * Bachelor's degree in Design, Communications, Marketing, or related field.
 * Agile or UX certification preferred.

Clearance Requirements:

 * U.S. Citizenship.
 * Ability to obtain Public Trust. Active Public Trust is preferred. FEMA Public Trust is highly preferred.

## Description

We are seeking a UX/CX Specialist SME to serve as FEMA's authoritative expert for human-centered design, service design, and customer experience across enterprise cloud modernization and disaster response digital services., * Develop organization-wide CX strategy and design standards.

 * Lead service design across multiple systems/program portfolios.
 * Advise senior leadership on CX metrics, digital adoption, and usability risks.
 * Oversee comprehensive user research programs and accessibility governance.
