Security Clearance Requirements: * This position requires you to have an active Secret Clearance. A government background investigation will be conducted on selected applicants to determine whether they qualify for access to classified information. ## Description Join our team of highly skilled Congressional Affairs / Congressional Notification Specialists to ensure compliance with the Arms Export Control Act (AECA) and the Departments of Defense and State policies. You will be part of the Congressional Notification team, handling foreign military sales packages that exceed significant dollar thresholds, ensuring that the various articles and services being sold to Congress are adequately and clearly described in each notification., The Congressional Affairs / Congressional Notification (CN) specialist develops CN packages to meet requirements for successful notification, such as identification of Major Defense Equipment and reviewing and editing policy justifications and sensitivity of technology statements to ensure compliance with the Arms Export Control Act (AECA) and DoD and State Department (DoS) policies. Adjudicates inconsistencies among coordinating agencies and drafts or redrafts compromise language.
