Nice to have: * Law firm experience is preferred but not required. * Experience with employment and HR-related legal matters. * Background in regulatory compliance, including privacy and data protection regulatory frameworks. * Experience with intellectual property matters, including trademark, copyright, patent, and trade secret issues as they arise in the ordinary course of business. ## Description The Senior Counsel - Data & Media will serve as a strategic legal partner to The Weather Company's Enterprise Data and Media business units, reporting directly to the Deputy General Counsel. This role involves managing a broad spectrum of legal matters, with a primary focus on drafting and negotiating complex data and software licensing agreements, supporting data commercialization strategies, and guiding data privacy and governance initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess over 8 years of legal experience, including at least 5 years in-house, with substantial expertise in the technology industry, B2B engagements, and product development, enabling them to effectively navigate the company's legal needs and commercial objectives in a hybrid, Atlanta-based environment.
