## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
 * 3-5 years of professional Java development experience.
 * Strong experience with Java 20/21.
 * Hands-on experience with Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
 * Experience developing RESTful APIs.
 * Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
 * Experience with Git or other version control systems.
 * Experience with JUnit and Mockito.
 * Experience using Maven build tools.
 * Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

 * Master's degree in a related technical field.
 * Experience in the Airline industry.
 * Familiarity with Angular and Node.js.
 * Experience with Azure SQL.
 * Basic Linux/Unix command-line knowledge.
 * Exposure to messaging technologies such as JMS or RabbitMQ.

Responsibilities

 * Design, develop, test, and document software solutions following engineering best practices.
 * Build and maintain scalable, high-performance Java applications.
 * Develop RESTful APIs and backend services using Spring Boot.
 * Perform root cause analysis and resolve production issues.
 * Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code.
 * Participate in code reviews and mentor junior team members.
 * Improve application reliability, performance, security, and observability.
 * Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
 * Implement automated testing and ensure high code quality.
 * Identify vulnerabilities and contribute to secure application development.
