## About the Role

Relevant administrative qualification
ICT skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital rostering systems
Excellent organisational abilities and a knack for working to deadlines
Strong communication and interpersonal skills - a positive attitude is a must.
Previous experience in administrative procedures; experience with Home Care Services is a bonus
Ability to communicate in Welsh or English to required levels - You will need a basic knowledge of Welsh. Reasonable support can be provided on appointment to reach this level.

This varied office-based role includes county-wide travel and provides the opportunity to support both the out-of-hours service and our newly established Duty Team, contributing to the effective delivery of Home Care services across Carmarthenshire

What's the Role?

As a Service Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the scheduling and coordination of care, ensuring individuals receive timely support. From collaborating with Supervisors and Managers to mastering our IT management systems, you will help keep everything running smoothly - every day, every visit, every rota!

Coordinate care schedules and staff rotas, balancing operational priorities across short-term and long-term pillars
Communicate proactively with care staff and colleagues to meet the needs of service users
Support the duty team to maintain accurate records for safe and efficient care delivery
Embrace teamworking, sharing responsibilities, and contributing to forward planning
Uphold high standards of professionalism and compliance with council policies
