You'll also build the internal tools that keep the business running: connecting our sites to our Syspro ERP, building staff-facing tools like sales order entry, and automating workflows with Flowgear and custom APIs. You'll work directly with our senior web developer and ERP developer, with real ownership of day-to-day development across our sites. If you like owning problems end-to-end rather than picking off tickets, you'll fit right in. This is a Hybrid role with site working 3 days a week - Will you be able to reliably commute to Ongar CM5 for this job? What you'll do * Develop, maintain and improve multiple Wordpress/Woocommerce sites, including our in-house custom plugins * Extend WooCommerce functionality - trade/tiered pricing, customer groups, delivery-date and courier logic, subscriptions/recurring orders, bulk ordering and reorder tools * Build internal web tools that make the business run faster - like sales order entry and other staff-facing front-ends over our ERP and business data * Build integrations and automations between systems using Flowgear, REST APIs and webhooks - connecting WooCommerce, our ERP/stock system, courier platforms and marketing tools * Work within our structured release process - Git, semantic versioning, changelogs, staging-first deployments - every change, including one-line fixes * Write and optimise SQL against MySQL for product data, reporting, bulk updates and clean-up; support product imports and feeds * Test WooCommerce core, theme and plugin updates on staging; triage and fix front-line site issues * Own front-end quality - responsive layouts, Core Web Vitals, page speed, accessibility * Support marketing with landing pages, campaign builds and on-page SEO, * High-SKU, B2B or wholesale e-commerce; trade accounts or tiered pricing * ERP integration experience (Syspro ideal, but any - SAP, Dynamics, NetSuite) or iPaaS/automation platforms like Flowgear, Zapier or Make * WooCommerce Subscriptions or other recurring-order tooling * UX/CRO exposure: wireframing, A/B testing, acting on analytics * Hosting/server administration, deployments, backups, security hardening * WPML/multilingual, multi-site or multi-brand setups; marketplace feeds (Amazon, eBay) Why join Peregrine * Real ownership; you'll ship features that move the whole business, not just tickets off a backlog * A small, senior team with direct access to the developers and decision-makers who built these systems * Interesting, unusual problems you won't find at a typical e-commerce shop Bonus points A genuine interest in reptiles, aquatics or exotic pets - it's genuinely useful here (and you'll fit right in with the rest of us). ## Related Videos - [Kill Your WordPress.
