Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills ## Description SC Cleared Interaction Designer | Central Government Hybrid | Bristol, London or Newcastle - Up to £550 per day (Inside IR35) 6-Month Contract Active SC Clearance Required We're supporting a major Central Government programme and are looking for an experienced Interaction Designer to join a multidisciplinary digital team delivering user-centred public services. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile government projects, helping shape intuitive and accessible services that make a real impact for citizens across the UK. Essential Requirements ? Active SC Clearance (must be current and transferable) ? Strong experience working within Central Government environments ? Proven delivery experience aligned to GDS (Government Digital Service) standards ? Experience designing end-to-end user journeys and service interactions ? Ability to work effectively within agile, multidisciplinary teams ? Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills Key Responsibilities * Design user-centred interactions for complex digital services * Create user journeys, wireframes, prototypes and service flows * Apply GDS principles, standards and best practices throughout delivery * Collaborate closely with User Researchers, Content Designers, Developers and Product Managers * Contribute to service assessments and ensure accessibility standards are met * Translate user needs and business requirements into effective digital experiences Contract Details * Rate: Up to £550 per day * IR35: Inside IR35 * Duration: Initial 6 months * Location: Bristol, London or Newcastle * Working Pattern: Hybrid, with 1-2 days per week onsite * Start: ASAP If you're an SC Cleared Interaction Designer with strong GDS experience and are available for your next contract opportunity, we'd love to hear from you.
