Task driven with ability to work independently. * Team player that takes ownership and develops relationships that fosters team success. ## Description The system engineer position is a blend of requirements management and hands on engineering. Manage requirements using JIRA, including estimating, tracking and reporting progress towards completion. Support system design tasks, including definition and maintenance of hardware configurations including EOL parts, as well as software and system design tasks including creation of deliverable documentation such as system requirements and system design documentation. Hands on engineering tasks may include test and evaluation, scripting and configuration tasks, problem tracking and resolution, system installation or patching, hardware installation and configuration, or other tasks that may arise as part of an Agile integration team. System Engineer Required Tasks: * Requirements development, risk management, trade studies and interface development. * Ensuring the logical and systematic conversion of customer/product requirements into a total system solution adhering to technical, schedule and cost imperatives. * Perform functional analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definitions to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
