## About the Role

A strong candidate will have deep functional knowledge of SAP Fixed Assets and Project Systems, a solid understanding of accounting principles, experience supporting large-scale ERP initiatives, and the ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical stakeholders.

## Description

* Project Systems (PS) general knowledge with exposure to Apptio and Anaplan
 * Capital project accounting and capitalization processes
 * Asset lifecycle management and depreciation
 * Project budgeting, cost tracking, settlements, and WBS structures
 * Financial reporting and accounting controls
 * Cross-functional integrations with Finance, HR, Procurement, and other enterprise systems

What They Will Do

 * Partner with Accounting and Finance teams to gather and document business requirements.
 * Translate business needs into functional specifications and system solutions.
 * Support enhancements, projects, and production support activities related to Fixed Assets and Project Systems.
 * Participate in solution design, testing, defect resolution, and deployment activities.
 * Validate end-to-end business processes including asset acquisitions, asset under construction (AuC), depreciation, project cost management, settlements, and capitalization.
 * Collaborate with SAP technical teams, integration teams, and external implementation partners to deliver business capabilities.
 * Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and standardization across finance processes.
 * Support month-end and year-end activities and assist with audit and compliance requirements.
