## About the Role

* Strong experience building and operating large-scale backend systems.
 * Hands-on experience with Golang preferred; Java or Scala also relevant.
 * Deep understanding of distributed systems, microservices, REST APIs, and AWS.
 * Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
 * Exposure to high-volume data, streaming, or event-driven systems.
 * Strong understanding of security, privacy, and data protection.
 * Excellent problem-solving skills and comfort working through ambiguity.
 * Strong communication skills and the ability to influence technical decisions.
 * A track record of mentoring engineers and driving impact across teams.
