## About the Role

* Minimum 4 years of experience as a PostgreSQL DBA
 * Experience in administering PostgreSQL databases
 * Working experience using PostgreSQL ver. 16 and higher.
 * Experience with Database and SQL Tuning using PostgreSQL
 * Assist development teams in optimizing PostgreSQL
 * PostgreSQL backup and restore
 * Designing and managing PostgreSQL database schemas
 * Proficient in SQL and advanced SQL
 * Experience in security access control
 * Strong written and verbal communication skills
 * Highly motivated, able to work both in a team and solo
 * Must be able to meet deadlines and work well under pressure

At least 3+ years of hands-on EDB administration with experience in below:

 * EFM (EDB Postgres Failover Manager), * Certification in PostgreSQL is preferred.
 * Experience with PGD is preferred.
 * Experience with MongoDB is preferred.
 * Experience with Microsoft Azure - Nice to have
 * Experience with other databases Like Oracle - Nice to have

## Description

* EPAS Advanced Database administration
 * VACUUM Full or 3^rd party tools
 * pgbouncer, pgpool
 * EFM and streaming replication
 * Logical replication
 * PEM for monitoring
 * MTK for migration from Oracle to PostgreSQL
 * Backup and recovery Tool
