Its first stage is fully reusable, and the vehicle was designed from the beginning to be human-capable. Its first stage is fully reusable. As part of a hardworking team of engineers, you will be responsible for designing, manufacturing, and installing New Glenn hardware! Your scope delivers safe, reliable, ready-to-install hardware that meets requirements and acceptance criteria. Responsibilities: * Engage in the entire design cycle of fluid subsystems including conceptual design, thermo-fluid modeling, structural layout and analysis, integration, test and mission support * Support production efforts by triaging work stoppages, investigating root cause and corrective actions, and dispositioning non-conforming hardware. * Collaborate with many internal stakeholders to define requirements, dependencies, and schedule needs associated with delivering integrated fluid systems * Lead team-based identification, decomposition, and estimation of work scope for full lifecycle fluids hardware development * Manage project schedule, resources, and cost - present status of effort, including risks, variances and recovery plans to program management * Work to continuously improve the team processes and manage team assignments to move quickly while meeting human space flight standards * Perform procurement, integration support, and discrepancy resolution * Oversee fluid component and subsystem level testing including test planning, test execution, data reduction, and analysis * Create and modify drawings, specifications, and other documentation, Applicants for employment at Blue Origin must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e. current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
