This is a unique opportunity to become one of the organization's most senior infrastructure leaders and only the second engineer at this level focused exclusively on DevOps and platform engineering. The ideal candidate will be able to step into a highly visible role, take ownership of cloud architecture decisions, and help drive the next stage of scale and reliability. Required Skills & Experience

 * 7+ years of DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering experience
 * Deep expertise with AWS cloud services
 * Production experience with:
 + AWS Lambda
 + API Gateway
 + DynamoDB
 + Amazon RDS
 + IAM
 + Cognito
 + CloudFormation
 + AWS CDK
 * Strong Python development and automation skills
 * Experience designing and supporting highly available, low-latency, high-traffic systems
 * Infrastructure as Code (IaC) expertise
 * Experience implementing monitoring, logging, alerting, and operational best practices
 * Strong troubleshooting and systems architecture skills
 * Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
 * Ability to work independently and take ownership with minimal oversight

Desired Skills & Experience

 * Experience with serverless-first architectures
 * CI/CD pipeline design and automation experience
 * Experience optimizing cloud cost and performance
 * Knowledge of containerization technologies and orchestration platforms
 * Security and compliance best practice experience within AWS
 * Experience supporting customer-facing applications with significant traffic volumes
 * Prior experience within sports, entertainment, ticketing, media, or event technology environments
 * Leadership, mentoring, or technical ownership experience

 * 40% Design, build, and maintain AWS infrastructure
 * 25% Improve scalability, reliability, and system performance
 * 15% Infrastructure automation using Python and Infrastructure as Code
 * 10% Partner with software engineering teams on cloud architecture initiatives
 * 10% Monitoring, troubleshooting, incident response, and operational excellence
