Agent guide: [/agents.md](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/agents.md). --- # DevOps Manager - **Company:** Stott and May - **Location:** UK (Remote available) - **Contract:** Permanent contract - **Skills:** Artificial Intelligence, Microsoft Azure, Software as a Service, Cloud Computing, Cloud Computing Security, Continuous Integration, DevOps, Domain Name System (DNS), Github, Monitoring of Systems, Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Python (Programming Language), Network Security, Routing, Open Web Application Security, Platform as a Service (PAAS), Windows PowerShell, Reliability Engineering, Akamai, TypeScript, Web Applications, Web Platforms, YAML, Pulumi, Load Balancing, Delivery Pipeline, Firewalls (Computer Science), Cloudflare, Terraform, Dynatrace, Serverless Computing, Vulnerability Analysis, Microservices - **Published:** August 18, 2026 - **Apply:** https://www.totaljobs.com/job/devops-manager/stott-may-professional-search-limited-job107862022 ## About the Role * Proven experience leading or managing DevOps, Platform Engineering, SRE or similar technical teams. * Experience within retail, ecommerce, luxury retail, travel, fintech or other high-volume digital environments. * Strong hands-on understanding of DevOps practices, with the ability to get involved technically rather than operating purely at a strategic level. * Strong Microsoft Azure experience across IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, serverless, containers and automation. * Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Pulumi, ARM or similar technologies. * Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines, particularly Azure DevOps and GitHub. * Good understanding of PowerShell, YAML, Python and/or TypeScript. * Strong understanding of networking, including DNS, routing, firewalls and load balancing. * Experience managing enterprise-scale web applications, microservices and high-traffic digital platforms. * Experience with monitoring and observability platforms such as Dynatrace, Catchpoint or similar. * Experience managing incidents, problem management, root cause analysis and live production environments. * Understanding of application and cloud security, including OWASP principles, WAF, bot management and security scanning. * Experience with CDN technologies and security controls, such as Akamai, Cloudflare or equivalent. ## Description We are partnering with a leading luxury retailer to recruit an experienced DevOps Manager to lead the day-to-day operation, support and continuous improvement of its ecommerce and digital platforms. This is a hands-on leadership role combining technical delivery with team management. You will lead and support a DevOps team, remaining close to the technology while overseeing cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, automation, monitoring, security and live service operations. The role is not purely strategic.
