## About the Role

* Ability to assess network topology and identify consolidation opportunities
 * Cost-benefit analysis - evaluating which sites/circuits to consolidate and when
 * Scenario planning - modeling different consolidation sequences and their impact

Network & Infrastructure Knowledge

 * Deep understanding of network architecture (WAN, LAN, MPLS, SD-WAN, circuits)
 * Familiarity with facility types - data centers, comms rooms, edge sites
 * Understanding of capacity planning and service dependencies

Data & Inventory Management

 * Ability to work with network inventory systems and asset registers
 * Identifying gaps, redundancies, and rationalization opportunities in circuit/equipment data
 * Proficiency in Excel/data tools for modeling and reporting

DESIRED SKILLS:

Stakeholder Engagement

 * Presenting consolidation recommendations to senior leadership
 * Aligning strategy with business goals across multiple departments
 * Managing pushback from teams resistant to site changes

Financial & Commercial Awareness

 * Understanding lease obligations, carrier contracts, and exit costs
 * Building business cases for consolidation decisions
 * Tracking realized savings against strategy targets

Vendor & Carrier Knowledge

 * Understanding carrier landscapes and contract structures

## Description

Analyzes architecture, relationship between systems, and systems flow of end-to-end designs.

Interface with Engineering, Operations and Network Planning organizations to serve and support proper designs needed to simplify and modernize the legacy network.

Track monthly Engineering and Operations progress to ensure progress is being made to achieve Open For Sales, Copper Migration and Switch shutdown targets.

Sharing progress with leaders and other stakeholders with dashboards and reports.
