## About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Big Data Developer with strong experience in SQL and Python and Hadoop.

You will be responsible for building scalable data pipelines, ETL processes, and distributed data systems in a fast-paced environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with a background in software development and data engineering, especially within large-scale data environments., * 2-4 years of experience as a Hadoop Developer/ Big Data Developer / Data Engineer / Software Engineer

 * Strong programming skills in SQL, Scala, Java, or Python
 * Good knowledge of SQL and database concepts
 * Experience working in Linux/Unix environments
 * Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design
 * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
Candidates from Electronics, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering backgrounds may be considered with 3 year relevant experience.

Additional Requirements

 * Must be based in the UK with valid work authorization
 * Willingness to travel within the UK required

Immediate joiners or candidates with short notice periods are highly preferred., * Bachelor's (required)

## Description

* Develop and maintain Big Data applications using SQL, Scala, Hadoop & Python.
 * Strong SQL programming skills
 * Experience with SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL
 * Build, optimize, and manage ETL pipelines and data workflows
 * Work with large-scale structured and unstructured datasets
 * Perform code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization
