Experience with pre-silicon validation using emulation and FPGA prototyping tools and methodologies. Experience in designing test plans and work with automation/test engineers to implement the same, collect and analyze test result, identify and debug issues. Proficiency in utilizing wireless test lab equipment (e.g., spectrum analyzers, signal generators, network analyzers, power meters) for system characterization, debugging, and root cause analysis of complex communication issues. Strong understanding of measurement principles and their practical application. Minimum Qualifications BS and a minimum of 10 years relevant industry experience. Bring-up experience and take to production state-of-the-art physical layer wireless communication system algorithms for very high data rate applications. Profound understanding and practical application of wireless communication theory, including advanced topics like OFDM, MIMO/multi-antenna systems, and RF system architecture. Expertise in signal processing algorithms for physical layer implementations, such as timing and frequency synchronization, signal estimation and detection, automatic gain control (AGC), RF impairment mitigation (e.g., IQ imbalance, phase noise), channel estimation and equalization, coexistence, and interference suppression.
