## About the Role

* 7+ years of Oracle Database engineer
 * Expertise with Oracle Database 19c/26ai, RAC, ASM, Data Guard, RMAN, and OEM.
 * Hands-on experience with Oracle Exadata.
 * Experience with TDE, Oracle Key Vault, and database security controls.
 * Experience with automation and scripting (Python, Ansible, Terraform, Shell).
 * Experience supporting Linux-based database environments.
 * Strong database performance tuning and troubleshooting skills.
 * Experience working within cloud environments

## Description

Insight Global is looking for a Senior Oracle Database Engineer to join one of our largest financial clients siting onsite 2-3x a week in Jersey City, NJ. This person will be joining the Database Engineering team. This person will be responsible for:

 * Design and support Oracle databases on Exadata and cloud platforms, including Oracle Database@Azure.
 * Engineer high availability, disaster recovery, backup, and recovery solutions using RAC, Data Guard, and ZDLRA.
 * Implement database security controls including TDE, Oracle Key Vault, auditing, and compliance standards.
 * Automate database provisioning, patching, cloning, refreshes, and operational workflows.
 * Support database migrations, GoldenGate replication, and cloud transformation initiatives.
 * Troubleshoot and optimize performance for mission-critical Oracle databases.
 * Participate in vulnerability remediation, platform upgrades, and technology modernization programs.
