## About the Role

* Proven experience designing and delivering cloud solutions on Azure, AWS or GCP
 * Strong understanding of microservices, distributed systems, APIs and modern application architectures
 * Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
 * Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform or equivalent)
 * CI/CD pipeline design and implementation
 * Understanding of cloud security, networking and compliance principles
 * Experience with SQL databases and data architecture concepts
 * Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
 * Authorization to work in the United Kingdom

Nice-to-have

 * AWS Solutions Architect Associate certification or equivalent
 * Experience with .NET, Java, Spring Boot or Python in cloud environments
 * Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC or SAP RISE cloud solutions
 * Knowledge of Power BI, analytics platforms or data pipeline technologies
 * Experience with Linux, Windows, networking (F5) or DMZ architecture
 * BPMN or UML modelling expertise

## Description

* Designing enterprise cloud solutions across Azure, AWS or GCP, with consideration for cost, performance, security and scalability
 * Defining cloud architecture patterns, standards and best practices for your organization
 * Leading the technical evaluation and selection of cloud platforms, services and tools
 * Collaborating with development, operations and security teams to implement CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)
 * Architecting microservices and distributed systems that support modern application delivery
 * Managing integration with existing on-premises systems, APIs and enterprise solutions (including SAP environments where relevant)
 * Advising on data pipelines, data quality and analytics solutions aligned to business outcomes
 * Supporting teams through technical mentoring and guidance on cloud best practices
