## About the Role

* Demonstrable experience in data engineering, data infrastructure or related roles
 * Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with data pipeline development
 * Working knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or Google Cloud Platform
 * Familiarity with Python or other programming languages used in data contexts
 * Understanding of data quality principles, data governance and data requirements gathering
 * Experience with data tools, ETL processes or modern data stack technologies
 * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline
 * Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with non-technical stakeholders

Nice-to-have experience could include:

 * Master's degree qualification
 * Google Cloud Data Engineer certification
 * Experience with Kubernetes, Docker or containerisation
 * Knowledge of CI/CD practices and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform
 * Familiarity with distributed systems or microservices architecture
 * Experience working in agile or fast-paced development environments
