## About the Role

As an IT Technician, you will work closely with our technicians. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential. A minimum of 2 years' hands-on experience in a 1st line customer-facing role is required. Any 2nd line experience would be an advantage. A valid driver's license is required due to our network spanning multiple sites. You will be expected to travel to customer sites to support their IT needs and occasionally stay over (Fuel and Expenses Paid)

Essential Technical Skills:

 * Installation of IT hardware and software
 * Microsoft Operating Systems
 * Windows Server Experience
 * Strong understanding of Active Directory, file permissions, DHCP, DNS, and Group Policy
 * Excellent troubleshooting skills in hardware, software, and networking (routing, switching)
 * Experience with Exchange, Office 365, and PowerShell

Desirable Technical Skills:

 * Capita sims.net (server & client side)
 * Veeam Backup
 * Experience with Apple products
 * Familiarity with Ubiquiti products
 * Knowledge of VOIP systems
 * Microsoft Azure
 * IP CCTV Systems and Door Access Control (Paxton)

Personal Qualities:

 * Ability to work within statutory regulations, policies, and procedures
 * Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
 * Capability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
 * Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
 * Motivated team player with strong communication skills
 * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
 * A calm and approachable demeanour, able to handle issues professionally and with tact
 * Willingness to undertake ongoing training and professional development
