Must-have

 * Proven professional experience developing in Python (3+ years)
 * Strong understanding of object-oriented and functional programming principles
 * Experience building or consuming APIs and microservices architecture
 * Familiarity with at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS or GCP)
 * Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases
 * Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD practices
 * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

Nice-to-have

 * PCAP - Certified Associate in Python or PCPP - Certified Professional in Python
 * AWS Certified Developer - Associate certification
 * Experience with Kubernetes and Docker in production environments
 * Familiarity with data pipeline development and data quality practices
 * Experience with .NET, ASP.NET, React or Java ecosystems
 * Knowledge of Linux and Bash scripting

## Description

We're seeking Python Developers for contract roles based in Manchester. These positions could see you working on projects that span microservices architecture, data pipelines, and cloud-based solutions. You would collaborate with experienced engineering teams to deliver robust, well-tested code in fast-paced environments where your contributions make a direct impact on project success., * Designing and implementing Python solutions using modern frameworks and best practices

 * Developing microservices and APIs that integrate with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or GCP
 * Writing clean, maintainable code with strong test coverage and adherence to CI/CD pipelines
 * Collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions
 * Troubleshooting and optimizing application performance in distributed systems
 * Contributing to code reviews and knowledge sharing within development teams
 * Working with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes where applicable
