This position combines technical problem-solving, systems integration, and customer-facing support to ensure successful deployment and performance of complex powertrain and connected device systems. The role involves close collaboration with sales and multidisciplinary engineering teams, as well as regular travel to support customers and projects across the United States., * Collaborate with customers, sales teams, and engineering groups to understand application needs and translate customer requirements into practical engineering solutions. * Support the integration of batteries, battery packs, energy storage systems, and power electronics into OEM, commercial vehicle, electric vehicle, and industrial applications. * Participate in systems integration activities for connected devices and CAN-enabled powertrain systems, ensuring compatibility and optimal performance. * Provide technical support to OEMs, dealers, and other customers, acting as a primary technical contact for application-related inquiries. * Perform technical troubleshooting and root-cause failure analysis on power electronics, powertrain systems, and related components in the field and in office environments. * Work closely with sales engineering teams to align technical solutions with business objectives and commercial requirements. * Explain complex technical concepts clearly to both engineering-focused and commercially-focused audiences, adapting communication style as needed. * Prepare and deliver technical documentation, reports, and presentations that support customer projects and internal engineering activities. * Maintain a strong customer-facing presence, building trust and long-term relationships through responsive and knowledgeable support. * Travel regularly to company facilities in Columbus and Cincinnati, Ohio, and to customer locations throughout the United States to support installations, troubleshooting, and project reviews., This role offers a mix of office-based engineering collaboration, customer interaction, and field support.
