## About the Role

* Experience supporting and developing SIEM platforms in a Security Operations Centre across a multi-tenant environment
 * Practical experience creating, testing, implementing, and supporting custom tooling for Security Operations
 * Proven line management experience leading security engineers and analysts
 * Ability to work independently and produce high-quality work without close supervision
 * Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially for technical subjects
 * Ability to coordinate, track, and report project milestones, risks, and blockers to senior management
 * Broad cyber security awareness and practical experience
 * Eligible for NPPV3 and SC clearances; NPPV3 clearance must be approved before start
 * Relevant cloud certification or equivalent experience
 * Previous public sector experience
 * Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Sentinel, or other SIEM platforms
 * Experience working with code repositories and CI/CD

## Description

* Lead a team in creating, configuring, and maintaining technology platforms and tooling that support security operations within the National Management Centre
 * Contribute to technical designs and documentation for new and existing solutions
 * Act as a point of escalation and subject matter expert for other team members
 * Support forces with the configuration of Sentinel and log sources
 * Coordinate the testing, implementation, and configuration of new data sources
 * Contribute to the management of SIEM content, including detections
 * Provide line management for NMC Cyber Security Engineers
 * Work with wider NMC teams to support continual service improvement and innovation
 * Help protect front-line policing from cyber-attacks
 * Support the delivery of threat detection and response capabilities across the technology estate
