## About the Role

* TS/SCI Clearance with polygraph
 * A bachelor's degree and six (6) years of experience in software development/ engineering in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity. Ten (10) years of software development experience may be substituted in lieu of a bachelor's degree
 * Experience with Java development
 * Experience with a JavaScript framework such as Angular
 * Experience developing in the Linux operating system
 * Experience with Docker for containerized application deployment and management
 * Must be able to work between the core hours of 10AM-2PM. Exceptions will be considered on a case-by-case basis

Candidates are desired to have the following skills:

 * AWS experience
 * Experience in an Agile development environment
 * Experience working with the Atlassian Tool Suite
 * Experience with Python
 * Experience with GitLab for version control

## Description

* Maintain and enhance backend services developed using Java and Spring Boot
 * Update software requirements, libraries, and dependencies to ensure the application remains secure, supported, and maintainable
 * Analyze and implement code changes required as a result of dependency and framework upgrades
 * Perform application maintenance activities, including troubleshooting, issue identification, and defect resolution
 * Develop and implement code enhancements and technical improvements based on customer and program requirements
 * Collaborate with customers, developers, and system engineers to deliver timely and effective solutions
 * Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to planning, estimation, and continuous improvement activities
 * Support application deployments and troubleshooting activities within Linux and Docker-based environments
 * Contribute to the long-term stability, reliability, and modernization of enterprise applications
