## About the Role

* High school diploma or GED required.
 * Ability to work in a production and fast-paced laboratory environment.
 * Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
 * Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with accuracy.
 * Ability to follow compliance, safety, and operational procedures.

Experience:

 * Experience using computer systems or mainframe environments preferred., * Basic understanding of laboratory operations and specimen handling.
 * Ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy.
 * Strong adaptability and willingness to learn additional functions.
 * Good interpersonal skills to maintain a positive work environment.

## Description

* The Pre-Analytical Assistant I will support specimen processing and technical operations in a clinical laboratory environment.
 * This role involves handling biological specimens, ensuring accurate processing, maintaining compliance with laboratory standards, and supporting timely and high-quality test result delivery.
 * The position requires strong attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced production environment, and adherence to safety and compliance protocols., * Learn and perform assigned duties within Pre-Analytical and Specimen Processing operations.
 * Identify and resolve specimen-related issues such as missing information, incorrect specimen types, and processing discrepancies.
 * Support sorting, racking, centrifuging, delivery, and storage of specimens.
 * Ensure accurate documentation and timely completion of work tasks.
 * Maintain compliance with laboratory policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
 * Research test order information using system tools and directories of services.
 * Maintain quality and production standards following training completion.
 * Support workflow continuity during staff absences or high-volume periods.
 * Maintain a clean and organized work environment following 5S standards.
