## About the Role

We're looking for someone who has:

 * Previous experience in a Business Development / New Business sales role
 * Experience within IT, technology, MSP, VAR or a related B2B environment
 * A proven track record of generating new business
 * Strong prospecting and relationship-building skills
 * Experience managing the full sales cycle
 * A commercially driven and target-focused approach
 * Excellent communication and negotiation skills
 * The confidence to engage with decision-makers at all levels
 * A genuine interest in technology and helping businesses solve IT challenges

## Description

As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for:

 * Identifying and developing new business opportunities across the UK
 * Prospecting into new accounts and building relationships with key decision-makers
 * Generating your own pipeline through outbound activity, networking and referrals
 * Understanding customer requirements and identifying suitable IT solutions
 * Selling a combination of managed services, IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, licensing, connectivity and VoIP solutions
 * Managing the full sales cycle from initial prospecting through to close
 * Working closely with technical and delivery teams to develop tailored solutions
 * Building long-term relationships with customers and maximising account potential
 * Consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets
 * Maintaining accurate pipeline and forecasting information
