## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Genetics, Biology, Bioinformatics, Biostatistics, Computational Biology, Computer Science, or a related field.

 * Strong programming skills with proficiency in Python and/or R. Familiarity with scripting languages like Bash.
 * Minimum of 2 years of research or working experience in a computational field, preferably with a focus on genomics.
 * Proven experience in statistical analysis and machine learning applications.
 * Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with a proven track record of contributing to interdisciplinary projects.
 * Expertise with high-performance computing, cloud-based platforms, docker, and version control systems (e.g., Git) is a plus.

## Description

* Data Interpretation: Efficiently process and analyze diverse biological datasets, deriving actionable insights to support our research initiatives.
 * Software Development: Design, implement, and maintain bioinformatics software tools and pipelines, ensuring optimized performance and accuracy.
 * Collaborative Analysis: Work closely with molecular biologists, geneticists, and other researchers to address complex scientific questions.
 * Stay Updated: Regularly review recent scientific literature, integrating new methodologies, tools, and technologies into our analytical processes.
 * Communication: Present findings clearly and concisely to specialist and non-specialist researchers and author/co-author scientific papers.
 * Perform other job related duties as assigned.
