## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
 * 8+ years of software development experience.
 * 5+ years of hands-on API development experience.
 * Strong expertise in designing and building RESTful APIs.
 * Experience working with Microservices Architecture.
 * Strong understanding of API lifecycle management principles and practices.
 * Experience integrating enterprise applications and services.
 * Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and debugging skills.
 * Strong verbal and written communication skills.
 * Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

 * Experience with API gateways and API management platforms.
 * Familiarity with cloud-based architectures and services.
 * Knowledge of API security standards, including authentication and authorization frameworks.
 * Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies.
 * Exposure to containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

## Description

STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking an API Developer on behalf of our client. This role is ideal for a seasoned software professional with extensive experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise-grade APIs and microservices. The successful candidate will play a key role in building scalable integration solutions, enhancing application connectivity, and driving API best practices across enterprise platforms., * Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable RESTful APIs and microservices.

 * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
 * Implement and support API lifecycle management processes, including design, deployment, versioning, monitoring, and maintenance.
 * Integrate enterprise applications, platforms, and third-party services.
 * Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues while optimizing API performance, reliability, and security.
 * Participate in code reviews and contribute to development standards and best practices.
 * Support system enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives within an Agile development environment.
