## About the Role

* Strong Python development experience, ideally with exposure to libraries such as NumPy, Pandas or Scikit-learn.
 * Experience building data pipelines and working with structured and unstructured data.
 * Experience working with AWS services such as S3, Lambda, EC2, RDS and Glue.
 * A solid understanding of statistics and applied mathematics.
 * The ability to understand, interpret and extend complex algorithms and business logic.
 * A strong grounding in software engineering principles, including testing, code quality and design patterns.
 * Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines and Agile development practices.

Desirable Skills

 * Experience working with time-series, geospatial, sensor or other complex datasets.
 * Exposure to machine learning or deploying ML models into production.
 * Familiarity with frontend technologies such as React and TypeScript.
 * Experience with infrastructure as code, such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
 * AWS certifications would be beneficial

What You'll Be Doing

 * Designing and developing data pipelines, ETL processes and backend services using Python.
 * Building and maintaining APIs and microservices that deliver data products to internal and external users.
 * Working with large and complex datasets
 * Implementing and deploying machine learning models and statistical analysis into production environments.
 * Designing and managing AWS cloud infrastructure to support data and application workloads
