## About the Role

* A degree in a numerate, scientific or related discipline, or equivalent experience solving complex analytical challenges.
 * Experience using statistical software and analytical techniques.
 * Strong coding and data analysis skills.
 * Working knowledge of SQL and R, or similar statistical programming tools.
 * Excellent problem-solving and investigative abilities.
 * The confidence to communicate complex information clearly to a range of audiences. [

## Description

* Analysing exposure and catastrophe data from syndicates across the Lloyd's market.
 * Supporting the development and maintenance of Lloyd's in-house catastrophe model.
 * Monitoring and reporting on catastrophe risk at both syndicate and market level.
 * Producing internal and external risk reporting, including information for regulatory stakeholders.
 * Assessing outwards reinsurance arrangements and helping quantify the risks they present to the market.
 * Benchmarking syndicate exposures and identifying emerging trends.
 * Working with colleagues across Lloyd's to evaluate risk management practices and reinsurance strategies.
 * Supporting continuous improvement through innovative analytical tools, modelling techniques and data-driven solutions.
