Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are highly desirable to support effective communication and outreach with the diverse communities served by the Digital Marin program. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Any four-year combination of professional experience, certification, and/or relevant coursework that demonstrates the necessary knowledge and abilities. Examples include: * Twelve (12) semester units of coursework from an accredited program and in a discipline relevant to the assignment is equivalent to a full year of related professional experience. * A completed certification program relevant to the assignment and knowledge and abilities necessary of the role. * A training program with evidence of completion providing the knowledge and abilities necessary of the role. * An internship and/or apprenticeship providing the required knowledge and abilities of the role. * Relevant professional experience demonstrating knowledge and abilities necessary of the role., The ideal candidate is a technically proficient, service-oriented professional who is passionate about using technology to improve the lives of others. This role provides project oversight, coordination, and technical support to ensure equitable access to digital resources, internet connectivity, devices, and digital literacy training. Taking an initiative to resolve complex issues, the Engineer performs a wide range of complex assignments requiring sound judgment, independent decision-making, project planning, technical coordination, and collaboration with County departments, community partners, and residents. Work is reviewed for overall outcomes, quality of service, resident satisfaction and program impact., This position is primarily an onsite role. The successful candidate will spend the majority of their time working from County facilities and Marin Housing Authority (MHA) locations providing hands-on technical support, device deployments, digital literacy training, resident assistance, and program coordination. While limited remote work may be available based on operational needs and supervisor approval, approximately 90% of the position is expected to be performed onsite or in the field.
