## About the Role

Do you have experience in Telecommunications RF engineering?, * At least 5+ years of experience in the design, build, and deployment of digital modem systems

 * Deep knowledge and demonstrated experience in digital modem design, including
 * Transmit and receive pulse shaping digital filter design
 * Symbol rate throughput, latency, and spectral occupancy analysis and optimization
 * Carrier/symbol clock offset tracking and recovery
 * Adaptive equalization using blind, training-based, and decision-directed algorithms
 * Channel modeling and simulation
 * Fixed point design, simulation and analysis
 * Experience with Python, C/C++ and/or Matlab for algorithm development, modeling (floating-point and fixed-point) and link-level simulation
 * MS/PhD in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
 * Reliable and predictable availability

Bonus Points:

 * Experience in logic design for wireless modem FPGAs, ASICs or custom data-path components for DSP applications (sequential and arithmetic components)
 * Familiarity with Radio Frequency (RF) and microwave components: oscillators, mixers, attenuators, amplifiers, couplers, isolators, Printed Circuit Boards (PCB) layout

## Description

* Design, simulate, and realize innovative physical layer wireless communication algorithms for low latency applications
 * Implement modem/system models and perform detailed performance investigations to allow performance sign-off and enable RTL development
 * Collaborate with digital designers and firmware developers to realize algorithms with power and area efficient implementation
