You are a strong communicator, explaining complex technical concepts to designers, support, and other engineers is no problem for you. You possess strong computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, programming languages, distributed systems, and information retrieval., * Bachelor's Degree or equivalent working experience * 3+ years of professional experience * Strong programming and scripting skills with one or more languages (such as Python, Go, and Bash) * Experience utilizing and deploying applications to a container orchestration platform like Kubernetes in a production environment * Experience working with Linux operating systems and containers, * MS or PhD in Computer Science, Math, Physics or Engineering * Ability to work independently and as part of a fast moving team * Ready to learn, but just as ready to teach * Excited to build and launch businesses * Professional experience designing and managing infrastructure in AWS with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools in a highly regulated environment * Experience implementing or integrating with and utilizing application metric, logging, and tracing aggregation tools such as, but not limited to, New Relic, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, Loki, and Grafana for troubleshooting, monitoring, and alerting * Experience using AI agents, such as GitHub Copilot, for development * Practical working experience with event driven architectures and message buses like Kafka * Experience owning CI/CD pipelines and automated workflows * Ability to design and develop event driven automations and/or workflows using AWS Lambda and/or Step Functions is highly desired * Understanding of the SRE principles and/or a background in an SRE, operations, or system administrator role is a huge plus ## Description Our mission is to provide innovative access to financial products that help RIAs secure their clients' financial futures and the Flourish Engineers play a key role in doing just that. You will engineer self-service and automated solutions to enable application development teams to constantly move faster while ensuring compliance with security standards and requirements. You have working knowledge of distributed systems and cloud-native technologies, and are excited to work throughout the tech-stack to deliver a delightful experience for customers and coworkers.
