The ideal candidate will have strong experience in NonStop platform support, UNIX/Linux production operations, and messaging middleware and a proven ability to design and optimize resilient, low-latency, high-throughput messaging architectures and automate repeatable operational processes., * 2-4 years of experience in UNIX/Linux production environments supporting hundreds of hosts. * Minimum 4 years of programming in Perl, Python, Bash, or C-derivatives (C++, Java). * 2-4 years of experience with data structures and databases (SQL and NoSQL). * Strong knowledge of networking protocols: TCP/IP, SSL/TLS, SSH, SFTP. * Experience troubleshooting production applications and participating in on-call rotations. * Proficiency with Linux and Windows operating systems and general information security concepts. * Automation experience with Ansible and source control/work management tools such as Git, Bitbucket, Jira, and Wiki. * Excellent written and oral communication with strong documentation skills in MS Office, Visio, and Project. * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
